The $50K Guarantee
If we don't find $50K of controllable loss, you don't pay.

If the Assessment doesn't identify at least $50,000 of quantified, controllable annual loss in your operation, the $7,500 fee is fully refunded. No arbitration, no clawback windows. We've never had to invoke it — but it's there because we mean it.

Rough math, before we look at your data.

Most industrial plants run a reactive maintenance ratio between 40% and 60%. Every 5 points of that ratio you reduce typically returns 1–3% of plant revenue annually. Here's what that looks like at three plant sizes.

Plant revenue
$20M
~50% reactive maintenance
$200K–$400K
Estimated annual leak
Plant revenue
$50M
~50% reactive maintenance
$500K–$1M
Estimated annual leak
Plant revenue
$100M
~50% reactive maintenance
$1M–$2M
Estimated annual leak

Industry benchmarks. The Assessment replaces these ranges with your actual numbers.

Most plants pay back the Assessment fee 10× over within 90 days of the install — and the install itself is optional after the Assessment lands.

Four deliverables. One fixed fee.

This isn't a slide deck or a maturity-model rollup. It's a graded read of what's actually leaking, what it's worth to fix, and what the install would look like if you decide to proceed.

Quantified

Leak inventory

Every place profit is leaking, with a dollar number attached. No "opportunity areas" — actual dollars, with the assumption stack visible.

Ranked

Recovery opportunities

What to fix first, second, third — ranked by recoverable dollars, time to capture, and how disruptive the fix is to your team.

90-day scope

Install scope

Exactly what fixing the top leaks looks like over 90 days — who does what, by when. Not a strategy, an operating plan.

Honest

Go / no-go

An honest call — supported by the numbers — on whether the install is worth your quarter. Sometimes the answer is no. We tell you that on the readout.

Ten business days, end to end.

  1. Days1–2

    Site walk + data extraction

Half-day on site (or remote-equivalent walkthrough). CMMS extract, work-order data, overtime summary, planner/scheduler interviews. List of data we need is sent before kickoff — typically 30–60 min of your team's prep.

  2. Days3–7

    Analysis + benchmarking

Reactive ratio, schedule compliance, backlog age, controllable-loss decomposition, benchmarking against comparable plants. Done off-site, no time required from your team.

  3. Day8

    Internal review

I sense-check the findings against operational reality before you see them. If something looks like a benchmarking artefact, it gets flagged or discarded.

  4. Days9–10

    Readout + final report

90-minute live readout with you and whoever else needs to be in the room. Final PDF in your inbox within 24 hours of the readout. Slides are not the deliverable — the report is.

A page from the Assessment report.

Below: the leak-inventory table — the deliverable that gets printed, signed, and forwarded to your CFO. This is illustrative; real reports list 6–12 leak sources specific to your operation, plus seven additional sections (90-day install plan, recommended sequence, risk register, glossary, and the go/no-go).

Plant managers and operators ready to actually move.

  • Plant revenue $10M–$250M annually. Industrial, manufacturing, ports, heavy industry.
  • Reactive maintenance ratio above 40% — or you don't know what your ratio is, which usually means the same thing.
  • Ops director, plant manager, GM, or operations VP — someone who can authorise the install if the numbers warrant it.
  • Leadership willing to show up to the readout. If the GM won't be in the room for 90 minutes, the engagement won't land.

Not for: theoretical strategy work, frameworks-and-decks engagements, sites where leadership won't show up to the readout, or operations where the buyer is hoping for a recommendation that doesn't involve their team changing how they work.

$7,500 fixed. No retainer hooks.

$7,500 buys you the diagnostic. If you decide to install the fix, the $7,500 credits against the install fee. If you don't, you keep the report — no retainer, no follow-on hooks, no pressure to convert.

If you stepped up from the $1,500 Audit within 30 days, the $1,500 credits as well. Net Assessment cost: $6,000.

The $50K guarantee: if the Assessment doesn't identify at least $50,000 in quantified, controllable annual loss, the fee is fully refunded.

I'd rather say no upfront than waste your quarter. If the data tells me your operation isn't a fit for the install, you'll hear it on the readout.

Before you book.

What's the $50K guarantee, exactly?

If the Assessment doesn't identify at least $50,000 of quantified, controllable annual loss in your operation, the full $7,500 fee is refunded. No clawback windows, no arbitration. The terms are detailed in the engagement letter you sign before kickoff.

How is this different from the $1,500 Audit?

The $1,500 Audit is a 48-hour read on whether a deeper engagement is worth your time — Zoom-led, 5-page report, no site walk. The $7,500 Assessment is the deeper engagement: 10 business days, full data extraction, four deliverables, $50K guarantee, and the install scope is part of what you walk away with.

If you're not sure which is right, start with the Audit. The $1,500 credits if you step up.

What data do you need from us?

CMMS access (read-only is fine), last 12 weeks of work-order extract (CSV/Excel), overtime spend last quarter, and 30–60 minutes of your planner or supervisor's time during the Day 1–2 walkthrough. Detailed checklist sent before kickoff.

How much of my team's time will this take?

Roughly 4–6 hours total across the 10 business days. Half-day for the site walk + data session, then a 90-minute readout. Finance/HR may need 30 minutes for overtime data. The bulk of the 10 days is my analysis, not your meetings.

Can this be done remote-only?

Yes. Remote-first is the default. Site walk can be replaced with a video walkthrough led by your planner. Outcome quality is unchanged for most operations; very large or hazard-classified plants benefit from a physical walk.

What if we decline the install after the Assessment?

You keep the report. No retainer, no follow-on hooks, no marketing pressure. Some clients use the Assessment report alone and run internal changes against it — that's a legitimate outcome and we don't discourage it.

Can we pay by PO instead of card?

Yes. PO payment is standard. Tax invoice issued on engagement letter signature. International buyers: $7,500 AUD, no GST. Australian buyers: $7,500 + 10% GST = $8,250.

Who exactly delivers it — and how do I know you'll still be doing this next year?

I deliver every Assessment personally. Ridgway Resilience is a one-person operation by design — there's no associate, no junior consultant. If continuity matters to you, the Assessment is documented end-to-end so any successor (yours or mine) can pick it up. The 90-day install scope is written so your team owns it, not me.
