Onsite Maintenance & Reliability Recovery · Across Canada

Onsite maintenance and reliability recovery for Canadian operations

Now based in Canada and work-authorised for two years. I help plants, ports, mines and manufacturers expose reactive maintenance, backlog and downtime profit leaks, then turn them into a practical recovery plan your team can execute.

Work-authorised in Canada through the IEC program for two years, so I can embed on your floor as a hands-on senior practitioner, not just a remote advisor. I work alongside your planners, supervisors and trades to find and recover maintenance profit leaks where they actually happen.

What I do onsite

Embedded support, tied to the five leak zones

Reactive work, overdue backlog, schedule compliance, unplanned downtime, and overtime and contractor leak. The work is hands-on and outcome-led, not a binder of theory.

Embedded planning support

I work inside your maintenance and reliability function to lift schedule compliance, cut reactive work, and rebuild a planning rhythm that holds after I leave.

Shutdown and turnaround support

Onsite scope control, scheduling discipline and progress tracking through the high-pressure window where most cost and overrun hides.

Plant Profit Leak Diagnostic, onsite

A structured walk of your operation and your data that quantifies the costliest leaks in dollars and sequences the recovery.

Short reliability sprints

Focused onsite blocks on the single highest-value problem: backlog, a chronic bad actor, or a failing planning process.

Who this is for

A straight answer on fit

A fit if you are

  • A Canadian operator carrying reactive maintenance and a growing planning backlog
  • Under shutdown or turnaround pressure
  • Losing asset availability to unplanned downtime
  • Running a reliability team that is stretched too thin to get ahead

Not a fit if you want

  • Labour hire to fill a seat
  • Generic CMMS administration
  • A theoretical reliability report with no path to implementation

How it works

From scoping call to recovery plan

STEP 1

Scoping call

A short call to confirm the problem, the site, and whether onsite work is the right move.

STEP 2

Onsite days

I am on your floor with your planners and trades, working the data and the process.

STEP 3

Quantified findings

The costliest leaks, sized in dollars, with the evidence behind each number.

STEP 4

Sequenced plan

A practical recovery sequence your team owns, with the highest-value move first.

Track record

Prior-role results from heavy industrial environments

In a prior role, I cleared a 1,000-plus overdue work-order backlog across a five-site Australian port operation in six months, recovering about A$150,000 in labour value, with no extra headcount. The lever was scheduling discipline, not more people.

In a prior commercial and schedule-control role, I helped recover approximately A$1M in project exposure in 30 days, without moving the delivery date.

In a prior role, I helped a process manufacturer break a 12-month maintenance backlog for about A$100,000 of bottom-line gain in two months, with no headcount increase.

Questions

Before you book

Do you replace our planners or reliability team?

No. The work supports your existing team, exposes the highest-value profit leaks, and gives leadership a sequenced recovery plan your people can execute and keep running.

Can you work onsite in Canada?

Yes. I am work-authorised in Canada through the IEC program for two years and can support approved onsite engagements across Canada.

Do you implement, or just diagnose?

Both. The Diagnostic quantifies and sequences the leaks. Embedded support is where I stay on the floor and help your team execute the recovery.

Is our operational data kept confidential?

Yes. Your work-order, downtime and cost data is used only to build your findings, held in confidence, and never shared.

How quickly can we start?

The Scorecard is immediate and the Snapshot runs in two days. Onsite engagements are scoped on the call and booked to suit your site and shutdown calendar.

Is your pricing fixed?

The Snapshot and Diagnostic are fixed fees. Embedded onsite support is priced from a weekly rate with extension days, and travel is billed at cost, so there are no surprises.
